Oil & Gas Sale and Processing Contracts

All oil and gas-related paperwork, including the required Oil/Gas Contract Brief Form, UT-5, as well as instructions on how to complete the UT-5, can be found under Forms, Policies & Procedures.

Lessees shall provide a copy of every contract for the sale or processing of oil or gas and any subsequent agreement and amendment together with a completed UT-5 within 30 days after the contract, agreement, or amendment is made. A separate UT-5 should be completed for each oil and gas contract file, and the completed UT-5 must be attached to the corresponding oil/gas contract and submitted to UL’s Production and Audit Department .

All related contracts and agreements received by University Lands will be held in confidence unless otherwise authorized by law or by the lessee.
